Our Facilities
All food is prepared in the modern kitchen, allowing us to offer the very best cuisine to residents and their guests alike. Breakfast (and other meals if necessary) is served in residents' rooms. Lunch and supper are normally served in the elegant dining room.
A home from home in rural Sussex
A home from home atmosphere prevails throughout the Home, with ample facilities for entertaining visiting relatives and guests who are welcome at all times. Light refreshments are offered free to them, while meals can be provided at low cost given prior notice.
The smaller, more private lounge/library is ideal for bridge or other card games and for entertaining guests.
All rooms have been tastefully decorated in Laura Ashley style. Residents are welcome to add personal touches to bedrooms with small pieces of their own furniture.
Each bedroom or suite has: an en-suite bathroom; colour television and a video connection; an intercom system to communicate between bedroom and kitchen; an emergency nursecall system, in both the bedroom and bathroom, to summon help; a personal telephone linked to a computerised call-recording system which lists details of each external call and its cost. There is a passenger/wheelchair lift to the first floor.
